Flap discs manufactured by SK Grit Industries comprise flaps of abrasives individually bonded to a tough fibre reinforced backing plate.

As the flaps wear down they expose the next layer below of abrasive material. This means that the flap disc will give you constant finish and very long life. Under normal working conditions, SK Grit Industries flap discs will generate a finish that is one grade finer than the finish of a fibre disc of the same grade.

Application & Use: Flap discs are ideal as it provides a system for removing materials and finishing in one step. Use in applications such as weld grinding, de-burring, rust removal, edge grinding, and weld seam blending. Can easily be fitted and mounted on to right angle grinders.
